Champions Clinic Recap: NCAA Champion Josh Wilson Returns to Greensboro

On October 7, 2023, Spartan ELITE Wrestling Club hosted its latest Champions Clinic featuring one of Greensboro's own — Josh Wilson.

Who Is Josh Wilson?

Josh Wilson's wrestling journey started right here in Greensboro at Southeast Guilford High School, where he became a 4-time NCHSAA placer and state champion. He went on to Greensboro College, where his career reached elite heights:

Josh is living proof that champions can come from anywhere — including right here in the Triad.

What Athletes Learned

The four-hour clinic covered advanced technique, competition preparation, and the mental approach that carried Josh from a high school wrestler to a national champion. Athletes from middle school and high school levels worked directly with Josh, drilling the techniques and strategies that defined his career.
